PLEASE NOTE: It takes us time to process applications, depending upon the volume of applications we have at any given time and how quickly we can reach references. To speed up the process, please let your references know that we will be calling and give your vet permission to release information to us.
Fostering is an important part of our rescue as all of our dogs live in private homes though out Connecticut. We do not have a facility with kennels.
If you would like to foster a dog for our rescue, please click on the application and fill it out. Our process for approving foster families is virtually the same as approving an adopter. We work hard to make sure that the foster dog we place with you will be a good match for your family, and vice versa.
If you have owned a pet within the last five years, we will need contact information for your veterinarian, including the name and location of the practice and their telephone number.
We also require three personal references, one of which may be a family member.
Without three personal references (and a vet reference if you have had a pet within the last five years) we are unable to process your application.
Before completing the application, there are a few things our pups to want you to know.
You must be at least 18 years old
Some dogs may have special needs. For example, need to be the only pet in the home or would enjoy being in a home with children over a specific age.
